I did this for a notecard contest at school. I participated in it last year too, but I didn't win. This year though, I got first place in the realistic category!
I decided to be different and draw a kitty instead of horses like I normally do. It took about 8 hours altogether and I used Prismacolor pencils.
This is a photo so it doesn't look quite the same, but I think it does it a little justice.
I based the kitty off of Callie, who passed away at the start of the school year. I never got around to telling anyone that...
