*Cheyenne mumbles around, head down, and in a very sad mood. Her mother, Lady, notices her depressed daughter and gently nudges her to get her attention.
"Cheyenne, honey, what's wrong?"
"Mom, I'm fine..."
"Heh, You don't look fine, and your tone of voice isn't helping your case either. Come here, tell me your problem."
"Mom! Can't you see? I'm suppose to be a palomino like you and Kealdra. But I don't see any golden hairs sprouting anywhere on my body. And everyone in the herd is making fun of me..."
"Really, how so? I'm with the mares all the time and I don't hear a peep from them that insults you."
"Well, maybe because they mumble behind your back..." Cheyenne mumbled to herself.
"What was that?"
"Oh, nothing. But mom, I see myself in the reflection of the water tank, and I look like a bandit. Why am I like this?"
"Well," Lady lifts her head, trying to search for the words.
"Cheyenne, your body goes through changes in order to grow up. You are at the beginning stages of puberty..."
Lol! This is what Cheyenne actually looks like right now. I don't think she's going to be a palomino any more, but I think she'll be a liver chestnut with flexan mane and tail...Enjoy...
